Jean-Claude Desaulniers
President & Chief Executive Officer

Jean-Claude Desaulniers is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CPL Technologies. He leads CPL's Senior Management Team and is an Officer of the Company.

Mr. Desaulniers is responsible for the overall strategy and operational activities of CPL Technologies, including sales, marketing, research and development, customer service, distribution, finance, administration, customer satisfaction and quality.

Mr. Desaulniers brings more than 20 years of information technology experience to CPL Technologies. His in-depth understanding of the customer support industry has enabled the company to produce C2 Enterprise, a well recognized customer support application used in a diverse and growing number of industries. Prior to joining CPL, he served in a number of senior management roles at CGI Group, J.D. Edwards and Informatech.

Mr. Desaulniers is a Marketing and Finance graduate from Concordia University and has a degree in Computer Sciences.


Julien Lewis, C.A.
Chief Financial Officer

Julien Lewis is the Chief Financial Officer of CPL Technologies. Mr. Lewis is responsible for leading CPL's financial affairs and oversees various other operational activities, including the management of human resources, employment contracts and social benefits.

Mr. Lewis is a Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years of financial experience, including 7 years of experience as the CFO of public companies in the Information & Technology sector. His expertise in corporate management has enabled CPL Technologies to develop and implement sound internal control and corporate governance practice.


Yvan Charron, C.A.
Corporate Director

Yvan Charron is the President of Focus Corporate Advisors Inc., a firm offering services in mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance for small and medium sized companies. Previously, he was a partner in a Quebec based accounting firm. During his 10 year tenure, he played an important role in securing financing for IPOs, among other kinds of financing.

Mr. Charron graduated from H.E.C. and has been a Chartered Accountant in good standing with the C.A. Institute since 1972.  

Jean-Guy Proulx
Corporate Secretary & Director

Mr. Jean-Guy Proulx is President of Services-Conseils JGP & Associés, a firm which offers services in merges and acquisitions and marketing strategies. Mr. Proulx has over 30 years of experience in the fields of Telecommunications and Information Technologies.

Previously, Mr. Proulx acted as CEO and President of the Board of Directors for a TSX-Venture listed company. He also held a number of senior management roles in leading firms, including Quebec Telephone (Télus), Unisys Canada and several software-development companies. His past experience allowed him to build an important network of contacts within the software industry.

Mr. Proulx graduated from the University of Quebec in Marketing and Administration.

Denis Lefebvre
Corporate Director

Denis Lefebvre is President of Covansys Canada, with nearly 20 years of experience in Information and Technology. Mr. Lefebvre has held positions of increasing levels of responsibility with major corporations such as Honeywell Bull, AT&T and NCR.

In 1995, he founded Communications Informatiques TRILAN, a company specializing in business network integration and the development of mid-range computer-based systems. As founding partner and Executive Vice President, he was responsible for the Consulting, Architecture and Corporate Solutions departments. Mr. Lefevre played a key role in the sale of TRILAN to Covansys Inc., where he remained as Executive Vice President. Recognized for his personal and professional skills, he was appointed President of Covansys Canada in 2000.

His achievements have helped ensure a solid base and steady growth for Covansys over the last several years.
